Retention of Data

Unistays will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Data Protection Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Unistays will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

If a User of our Service requests the deletion or cancelation of its Account, we will erase any of its personal data. Nevertheless, we will anonymize all the Usage Data only for statistical purposes and to improve our service.

With your Consent

We may share your information at your direction or as described at the time of sharing, such as when you authorize a third-party application or website to access your Unistays Account.

About our Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), to provide the Service on our behalf, or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.  For example, service providers may help us: (i) verify or authenticate your identification, (ii) check information against public databases, (iii) assist us with background checks, fraud prevention, and risk assessment, or (iv) provide customer service, advertising, email marketing, communication, or payments services.

These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose

Analytics Service Providers

We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.

Behavioral Remarketing Service Providers

Unistays uses remarketing services to advertise on third-party websites to you after you visited our Service. We and our third-party vendors use cookies to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on your past visits to our Service.

Google AdWords remarketing service is provided by Google Inc.

You can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize the Google Display Network ads by visiting the Google Ads Settings page: http://www.google.com/settings/ads/

Payments Service Providers

We may provide paid services and/or products within the Service. Even operating as a Limited Payments Collection Agent as described in our Terms and Conditions, Unistays may share your personal information to: (i) provide the Payment Services or (ii) facilitate your use of the Unistays Platform. We use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors).

We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors, whose use of your personal information is governed by their Data Protection Policy.

The payment processors we work with are: UPI, Credit card, Debit card, Net Banking

Disclosure and Sharing between Hosts & Guests

To help facilitate bookings, we may share your information with other Users as follows:

When you, as a Guest, submit a booking request, certain information about you is shared with the Host, including your full name, the full name of any additional Guests, and other information you agree to share. When your booking is confirmed, we will disclose additional information to assist with coordinating the trip, like your phone number and/or email address.When you, as a Host, have a confirmed booking, certain information is shared with the Guest to coordinate the booking, such as your full name, phone number, and the address of the Accommodation.

We don’t share your billing and payout information with other Users.

Profiles, Listings, and other Public Information

The Unistays Platform lets you publish information that is visible to the general public. For example:

Parts of your public profile page, such as your first name, your description, and city, which are publicly visible to others.Public Listing pages are publicly visible and include information such as the Accommodation’s approximate location, Listing description, calendar availability, the Host public profile photo, aggregated demand information (like page views over a period of time), and any additional information the Host chooses to share.After completing a booking, Guests and Hosts may write reviews and rate each other. Reviews are a part of your public profile page.If you submit content in a public forum or social media post or use a similar feature on the Unistays Platform, that content is publicly visible.

Information you share publicly on the Unistays Platform may be indexed through third-party search engines. In some cases, you may opt-out of this feature in your Account settings. If you change your settings or your public-facing content, these search engines may not update their databases. We do not control the practices of third-party search engines, and they may use caches containing your outdated information.

Additional Services

Hosts may use third-party services available through the Unistays Platform to assist with managing their Accommodation or providing additional services, such as cleaning services. Hosts may use features on the Unistays Platform to share information about the Guest (like check-in and check-out dates, Guest name, Guest phone number, and Guest anonymized email address) with that third-party service provider for the purposes of coordinating the stay, managing the Accommodation, or delivering other services.

Business Transaction

If Unistays is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Data Protection Policy.

Disclosure for Law Enforcement

Under certain circumstances, Unistays may be required to disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

Unistays may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

Unistays will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Data Protection Policy, and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place, including the security of your data and other personal information.

Data Transferring within Corporate Affiliates

To help us provide the Unistays Platform, we may share your information within our corporate family of companies (both financial and non-financial entities) that are related by common ownership or control. These related entities are covered under this Data Protection Policy, and when services have additional terms specific to them, we tell you through the Unistays Platform.

Analyze of Communications
We may analyze or scan your communications for the purposes of preventing and detecting inappropriate or illicit behaviors, not according with the purposes of the Service. Additionally we may review your communications for purposes related to customer support. We may also use automated systems to mask contact data or references to other websites. We will not analyze or review your messages to share with third parties that could send you commercial communications.

Security Of Data

The security of your data is important to us. For that reason we have implemented technical and organizational measures that protect your personal data. Some of these measures are, but not limited to:

Limited access to your personal information for Unistays employees who need it to provide you with a service.

Require that all employees sign a non-disclosure agreement to protect our Users and other confidential data.

Ensure that collected personal information will only be stored during the necessary period of time to fulfill the purposes for which such data was collected.

Nevertheless, please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Do Not Track" Signals

We do not support Do Not Track ("DNT"). Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked.

You can enable or disable Do Not Track by visiting the Preferences or Settings page of your web browser.

Additionally, you have the right to access, update, or request deletion of your Personal Data directly within your account settings section. Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Data Protection Policy of every site you visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

We may update our Data Protection Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Data Protection Policy on this page.
